E-mailaccount

Een hostoplossing zou in staat moeten zijn om een e-mailaccount aan iedereen in het bedrijf te bieden. Bijvoorbeeld:

POP e-mail

POP verwijst naar de Post Office Protocol. POP is een standaard klant/serversprotocol voor het verzenden en ontvangen van e-mail.

Email will be received and saved on your internet server until you retrieve the letters through some client email program (such as Outlook and Foxmail).

IMAP Email

IMAP refers to the Internet Message Access Protocol. IMAP is another standard protocol used for sending and receiving email.

IMAP provides some improvements over POP, that is, emails stored on the IMAP server can be processed by multiple computers without the need to transfer messages between computers. While POP is designed to support email access on a single computer.

Web-based Email

Web-based email allows us to access email through a web browser. After logging into your email account through the web, you can send and receive emails. It is very attractive to be able to access email from anywhere in the world.

Email Forwarding

Email forwarding allows us to have multiple email names.

You can set aliases for other email accounts using the email forwarding feature:

Mailing List

Some servers will provide a mailing list feature. If you want to send emails to a large number of users, this is a valuable feature.
