Se l'attributo è noto come tipo ID (ad esempio, contiene l'identificatore dell'elemento proprietario), allora isId L'attributo restituisce true, altrimenti restituisce false.

Il codice seguente carica "books.xml" nella xmlDoc e restituisce se l'attributo di categoria è l'ID dell'elemento <book>:
